Our coil-fed processing line handles steel coils up to 12.7 mm thick and is engineered for the high-volume production of specialty steels and high-tensile-strength steel. Direct processing from coil improves material yield, shortens lead times and optimizes production costs. We also achieve the tight dimensional tolerances required for automotive components, even when processing demanding high-strength materials.

Our press shaving process produces cut edges with a fully burnished surface and virtually no fracture zone. Components that previously required secondary machining can therefore be completed entirely within the press process, reducing both production costs and lead times. For cold-forged components, fracture zones can initiate cracking during forming and may require an annealing process. By producing a fully burnished edge, our shaving process can eliminate the need for annealing in applicable parts.

Our combination machine integrates punching, laser cutting and forming into a single production system, reducing manufacturing lead times and overall processing costs. Laser cutting is performed on a brush table to minimize surface damage and meet the stringent quality requirements of automotive applications.

Our head office factory (Honsya Factory) is our core production facility, equipped with a wide range of processing machinery. With equipment including an 800-ton blanking press, levellers, slitters, a laser combination machine, and a mini leveller, we are able to meet a diverse range of customer needs.
We have established an optimised production system covering everything from steel sheet cutting to processing, enabling us to deliver high-quality, consistent products across a wide range of production volumes, from small-lot, high-mix orders to mass production.
Our Urayasu Factory is a specialised facility dedicated to blanking press operations. Equipped primarily with 1,500-ton and 500-ton presses, the factory is capable of processing challenging materials such as thick steel plates and high-tensile steel.
High-precision finishing through shaving processes further supports the production of high-quality components, including automotive parts. Drawing on many years of technical expertise and extensive experience, the Urayasu Factory delivers highly efficient, high-quality blanking operations.
Toyo Kotetsu Co., Ltd. was established in Kamesawa, Sumida-ku, Tokyo.
The Warabi Plant was constructed in Warabi, Saitama, and equipped with leveling and shearing machinery.
A coil slitting line was installed at the Warabi Plant.
The company’s first plant was constructed in the Urayasu Steel Complex in Chiba, and a press blanking line was installed.
The Head Office was relocated to 72 Minato, Urayasu, where a new head office building and plant were constructed.
A 1,500-ton press line was installed at the Urayasu Plant.
